Open Roles

Budtender (Full-Time)

Full-Time Laurel, MD $18–$22/hr

As a Budtender, you’ll deliver exceptional customer service, guide guests through product selection, and educate on strains, potency, terpenes, and responsible use—while maintaining compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable guidance.
  • Recommend products across flower, pre-rolls, vapes, edibles, concentrates, and CBD.
  • Verify age/ID and follow all compliance procedures.
  • Accurately handle transactions, discounts, and cash/debit payments.
  • Keep displays stocked, clean, and compliant with labeling rules.
  • Stay current on product knowledge and daily promotions.

Requirements

  • 21+ with valid, unexpired government-issued ID.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Customer service or retail experience preferred; cannabis knowledge a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a regulated environment and following SOPs.
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented; weekend availability preferred.

Reception & ID Check (Part-Time)

Part-Time Laurel, MD $18–$20/hr

As Reception & ID Check, you’ll set the tone for each visit—welcoming guests, verifying IDs, managing check-in, and coordinating with the sales floor to keep traffic flowing smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and verify government-issued IDs quickly and accurately.
  • Manage check-in, queue order, and communicate wait times.
  • Answer basic questions about store hours, promotions, and online pickup.
  • Maintain a tidy, professional front-of-house area.
  • Support compliance procedures and incident logging as needed.
  • Coordinate with Budtenders to hand off customers efficiently.

Requirements

  • 21+ with valid, unexpired government-issued ID.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Strong customer service skills; front-desk or retail experience a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and highly reliable.
  • Weekend/evening availability preferred.

Inventory Specialist (Full-Time/Part-Time)

FT / PT Laurel, MD $20–$22/hr

Own back-of-house accuracy: receive deliveries, reconcile manifests, organize the secure room, and keep counts tight so the sales floor stays stocked.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and log deliveries; verify manifests and labels.
  • Organize storage; rotate stock (FIFO) and prep floor replenishment.
  • Run cycle counts/EOD counts; reconcile variances with a manager.
  • Process online/pickup orders accurately and on time.
  • Update counts in POS/inventory systems; follow compliance SOPs.

Requirements

  • 21+ with valid, unexpired government-issued ID.
  • Must pass a background check; inventory/retail ops experience preferred.
  • Detail-oriented with solid math and recordkeeping skills.
  • Comfort lifting up to 40–50 lbs; on-your-feet role.
  • Eligible for MCA agent registration per role scope.

Assistant Manager (Full-Time)

Full-Time Laurel, MD $23–$30/hr

Lead daily operations and coach the team to deliver great service and compliant sales. You’ll run shifts, handle escalations, and support inventory/cash controls.

Responsibilities

  • Open/close shifts; supervise floor operations and guest experience.
  • Coach, train, and schedule Budtenders and Reception/ID staff.
  • Oversee compliance: ID checks, discounts, incident logs, patient line/hour.
  • Cash handling and POS audits; daily reconciliation with management.
  • Coordinate deliveries, inventory counts, and merchandising readiness.

Requirements

  • 21+ with valid, unexpired government-issued ID.
  • Must pass a background check; retail lead/management experience preferred (cannabis a plus).
  • Strong people leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfort with KPIs, scheduling, and basic spreadsheets/POS tools.
  • Eligible for MCA agent registration; nights/weekends as needed.
